Lazy Bear

A modern American fine-dining dinner party. We think that the best dining experiences are the ones in which we’re seated around a table sharing food and stories with others. Lazy Bear started as a dinner party in 2009, and now in our permanent location, it is still a dinner party. We hope it’s the best dinner party you’ve ever attended. Our food is modern American, in the sense that we try to serve flavors that are intrinsically delicious and familiar to our American palates, in a format that calls to mind those great American shared eating experiences that we love. It’s communal and social, but the food and drinks are refined. FAQs What do you mean by “communal dining experience?” Lazy Bear is a dinner party. It starts with snacks and mingling upstairs in the living room. Eventually we seat all of our diners at long communal tables, and serve and explain each course to the entire dining room at once. That means pacing is sometimes a little faster or slower than might be ideal for your group, and sometimes our explanations might interrupt your conversation a bit. But we think it’s worth it for the shared experience this format creates. Why tickets instead of reservations? Lazy Bear is a communal dining experience that is different from other fine dining restaurants. We make sure to fill every seat in order to foster a more social, energetic dining room. Tickets allow us to do that while focusing on the food and experience, rather than on answering phones. What does the ticket include? Your ticket is inclusive of our tasting menu, which changes frequently. You can also opt to purchase a beverage pairing, either when you purchase your ticket, or once you’re at the restaurant. Tax and gratuity are not included in the ticket price, but 20% gratuity and 8.75% tax will be added automatically as you check out.
